Graduation of the First Cohort of the Training Program for Preparing Institutional Performance Evaluation Teams in the Public Sector.

Baghdad, February 27, 2025 – The organizers of the specialized training program “Preparing Institutional Performance Evaluation Teams for Senior Leadership in the Public Sector” celebrated the graduation of the first cohort of participants, representing a distinguished group of academic and professional staff from government institutions. The participants successfully completed the intensive training course requirements.

The program aims to qualify performance evaluation teams according to the latest scientific and administrative standards and methodologies, enhancing their ability to apply modern evaluation tools. These tools include strategic performance analysis, the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in evaluation, and the preparation of evaluation reports based on principles of good governance and total quality management. The program also focused on empowering participants to face challenges related to resistance to change, ensuring effective and efficient evaluation processes in the government work environment.

The training program, which was led by Dr. Aqeel Al-Khazali, consisted of three intensive training modules. These modules were divided into practical sessions and exercises, where participants simulated real evaluation scenarios, analyzed institutional performance strategies, and provided innovative solutions to improve evaluation mechanisms in the public sector.

At the conclusion of the event, certificates of participation and successful completion were awarded to the trainees. The organizers emphasized that this first cohort will serve as the foundation for institutional performance evaluation teams within government institutions, contributing to enhancing government performance efficiency and transparency, and ensuring the sustainability of institutional evaluation practices according to modern standards.
