Lecturer doctor Lubna R. Al-Azzawi is a faculty member at University of Technology, Department of Architectural Engineering, Iraq-Baghdad since 2006, she completed her M.Sc. & PhD degree of urban sustainability and sustainable urban development from University of Baghdad –Department of Architectural Engineering, Iraq- Baghdad in 2010, and 2023. Also, working on researches in the same field of Urban Sustainability, sustainable urban development and urban theorization issues that concerning Iraqi cities in specific and global cities in general.

Education

  • Graduated B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering the third on the year and hired in job as professor assistant at the same department. In 2008 won a chair as a master degree student in University of Baghdad – Department of Architectural Engineering and graduated in 2010, returned to University of Technology and taught their as Assistant Lecturer, then promoted as a Lecturer in 2016. In 2019 win a chair as PhD student in University of Baghdad-Department of Architectural engineering again

Research Interests

Interested and working on Urban Sustainability and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) methods, and sustainable urban development strategies and policies.

 

Teaching

• 

Teaching for 13 years now in University of Technology in Iraq-Baghdad , with experience in graduation projects and urban design classes, moreover teaching climatic urban environment for two or three years, and 3D MAX, AUTO CAD Labs.
