Division Head: Asst. Lecturer Rusal Haitham
A. Main Mission:
Managing and following up on postgraduate activities including admissions, registration, and supervision of postgraduate students inside and outside Iraq, as well as issuing graduation certificates for postgraduate students.
B. Duties and Responsibilities:
Organizing the work of the postgraduate examination committee and systematically archiving its records.
Organizing postgraduate exams by preparing exam halls and assigning appropriate invigilation staff, in coordination with the department’s academic assistant.
Implementing the Ministry’s instructions and the decisions of the University Council regarding postgraduate studies.
Monitoring the enforcement of postgraduate admission and application regulations.
Following up on the status of scholarship students abroad and those studying within Iraq.
Monitoring the status of the department’s staff enrolled in postgraduate studies at other universities and colleges, and handling related matters.
Issuing certificates and official documents for postgraduate students.
Supervising the organization of postgraduate research seminars.
Following up on study leave for postgraduate students who are employees.
Submitting reports on postgraduate studies.
Providing updates on the status of postgraduate students in the department.
